Mumbai so far

It has been a while since I updated this blog. I have been busy with college and everything, so let me sum it up for you guys.

Life is a mess.

Adulthood is a mess.

Mumbai is a mess.

I moved here in July 2024, hoping for the filmiest 3 years of my life. Whenever you move away from someplace, you move away from your family, your friends and someone you deeply love and admire. Yep, same thing. I really think there should be a portal for outstation people to easily return home after their day in Mumbai is done.

I mean, don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful city filled with people who can help you in any step of your life (conditions apply).

South Mumbai is a place which looks like it was made by Karan Johar, but internally and directed by Anurag Kashyap by the roots. People here are living in a bubble. I mean, in this social media age, who doesn't live in a bubble?  Who knows, we might even be living in a bubble multiverse.

My point is that the people here live in their glamorous little bubbles.

"Oh damn bro, look at this crazy rave party from last week."

"Bro, let's go clubbing."

Just shut up.

I dont want to be a party pooper or anything but maybe just stop for 3-4 years. Do it after you are something (optional). Do it when you are in your penthouse in a skyscraper with like 20+ cars parked in your garage.

Well, that is my mentality, and who am I to judge!

My first year went... mild.

I made some friends, got distant from some, and just realised I gotta work hard so I don't have to travel in local trains every day.

This city teaches you, tests you, shapes you-...holy damn I sound like my dad.

The point is, I love this city except for the monsoon part. It keeps your blood pumping, and at the end of the day, that's what you want!

The Thrill.

I am looking forward to manifesting more confidence in myself, more social battery, more power, more strength, and more everything good towards me.

I know life won't be easier in the second year, too, but as Ranchhoddass Chhanchhad always said, "All is well."
